Welcome to my class!

HI! My name is Mrs. Sherri Woodie and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher. We are going to learn so many exciting things this year. You will be amazed at how much your child is going to grow and change over this school year. Be sure to check back here often for class updates and pictures!

Congratulations on the completion of a very successful 1^st semester!

The amazing 2^nd graders in Room 28 certainly were busy! Here is just a sampling of things we have learned:

We visited the ancient civilizations of China and Egypt and learned about the may contributions they have made to our modern world.

We learned about the stages and properties of matter.

We learned how important it is to be a part of a writing and reading community and how to treat our classmates.

We wrote on a variety of topics. We even wrote letters to Santa Claus!!!!
